Cave Springs | Video Coming Soon | View Details
The need for a municipal wastewater infrastructure in the City of Cave Springs was recognized by many in the city for several years. Moving towards accommodating the explosive growth the region was experiencing was realized by the solutions Aqua Tech Systems brought to city officials, private developers and environmental groups. To move forward required a partnership with private industry and government whose ultimate goal was to remain focused on the environment while fostering growth in the community.

Sloan Estates | Video Coming Soon | View Details
Increased land costs associated with property inside the city limits and the negative impacts growth would place on outdated infrastructure, warranted the Barber Development Group to look for creative solutions to develop housing within the rural portion of the community. Understanding the potential environmental issues and the dynamics of how to navigate them, Barber Development turned to Aqua Tech Systems to determine the best approach to address their wastewater needs at the Sloan Estates Development.

Waterford Estates | Video Coming Soon | View Details
Blending some of the unique concepts of Open Space Residential Design with Low Impact Development, the developer for Waterford Estates opted to increase real estate value in the subdivision rather than decrease infrastructure costs. In addition to the aesthetic benefits the Aqua Tech System provided, the developer was successful in minimizing some of the potential adverse impacts a development with septic systems of this size would have on future water quality.

City of Highfill | Video Coming Soon | View Details
The City of Highfill Arkansas turned to Aqua Tech Systems to work with local leaders and their civil engineering firm to come up with a feasible solution to their wastewater needs. Comprehensive planning and an economic analysis of the proposed solution enabled the city to move forward in implementing an Aqua Tech Systems wastewater facility. The financial benefits of modular capacity expansion using this decentralized system compared to future plans for a large regional centralized facility gave the Aqua Tech Systems the consideration it deserved.

Indian Point | Video Coming Soon | View Details
The Village of Indian Point is located in the Table Rock Lake Watershed. Table Rock Lake is a large reservoir in southwest Missouri, serving as the focal point of a major tourism industry for the region. The water quality in the reservoir is the highest of any reservoir in the state, so it has become an important destination for fisherman and other outdoor recreational enthusiasts. However, water quality in the lake has slowly declined.
The geology of the watershed is typical of the Ozarks Plateau, and consists of thin, poor soils over limestone bedrock. Unfortunately, the thin soils provide little treatment for septic tank effluent, so in many cases wastewater from poorly functioning septic systems enters the reservoir with very little treatment. Previous studies have shown that the principal culprits affecting the lake's water clarity and algal biomass levels are nutrients, specifically nitrogen and phosphorous.
This project serves as a national demonstration of our advanced decentralized wastewater treatment technologies.
